Frequently Asked Questions

We’re Here to Help

We polled our fellow wheelers. We grilled each other. Then some mall crawlers with a 4-door interjected their thoughts too. This is what we came up with as the most Frequently Asked Questions. If we have not answered your question, please reach out to us.

Where is The GearSpot made?

We are proud to say that 100% of the materials and production are all from right here in the USA and will always be that way.

What type of material is the bag made from?

The GearSpot is made with Hydrofend® fabric. Hydrofend® is often found in marinas as it makes an excellent boat cover. It’s the reason we chose it. Hydrofend® provides six times better water resistance than uncoated fabrics. Hydrofend® is lightweight and powerful, the protective fabric resists cold crack, mold, and mildew. Let’s be real, no one wants soggy snacks!

What is your return policy?

We hope that you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within 30 days for a full refund. Please see our Necessities Page for instructions.

What is the maximum weight limit?

The weight limit for The GearSpot is 30 pounds. The bag is designed to hold light weight items such as rain gear, snacks, gloves, winch controls and other light items. This bag in NOT designed to hold tools or other heavy items.

How do you install The GearSpot?

It’s so simple. It attaches to the roll cage and sound bar with webbing and d-rings. No tools needed. As a matter of fact, not using it? Quickly remove it, fold it up and tuck it under your seat. Click here to watch how easy it is to do.

I identify with the mall crawler you reference. My Jeep doesn’t leave the road. Why would I want The GearSpot?

You know those days that start chilly, warm up, and then get chilly again? The GearSpot is the perfect place to tuck a hoodie! Listen, on-road or off we know the JK is lacking storage space and The GearSpot provides that much needed spot to tuck lightweight objects away knowing they won’t fly out of your Jeep.
